Inconel 600 (UNS N06600) Nickel Alloy: High Temperature & Corrosion Excellence

Inconel 600 is a premier nickel-chromium-iron alloy designed for use in severely corrosive and high-temperature environments. With a high nickel content (minimum 72%), this alloy provides excellent resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking and remains stable in reducing environments.

Technical Specifications

Chemical Composition: Approx. 72% Nickel (Ni), 14%-17% Chromium (Cr), and 6%-10% Iron (Fe).
Service Temperature: Capable of operating at temperatures up to 1093°C (2000°F) while maintaining superior creep and rupture strength.
Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to seawater, organic acids, and high-pressure steam.
